Personal care services can make life easier for older and disabled individuals. These services provide a great sense of security and well-being, offer care and comfort and often help maintain or regain their independence. Many times personal care services can assist individuals so that they can remain in their homes, rather than having to go to a nursing home. Services can be provided in a private home or an assisted living facility.

Personal care services include such things as assistance with bathing, meal preparation, dressing, laundry, grocery shopping and light housekeeping.
